Sweet Tidings!

I wanted to share with you a quick, easy, and yummy recipe!  It is perfect for Holiday parties or neighbor goodies!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 C. Karo Syrup
1 1/2 C. Sugar
1 C. + 2 Tbl. Butter (Must be butter, not margarine)
1 1/2 t. Vanilla

1 Box of Corn or Rice Chex
1 bag of Stick pretzels
Nuts of your choice (optional)
1 bag M&Ms ( I use the regular M&Ms, but all varieties would be yummy in this recipe).

Melt your butter in a medium sauce pan.  Add Karo Syrup, Sugar and vanilla, combine.  Bring this mixture to a boil.  Let Boil for 2 minutes.

In a very Large Mixing bowl, combine your Corn chex, pretzels and nuts.  (Do not put your M&Ms in yet because the mixture is so hot it will melt the M&Ms!  ( I use the large Tupperware mixing bowls for this because it makes a lot.  You will be doing a lot of stirring and need room for everything).

Pour your Boiled mixture over your dry mixture of Corn chex, pretzels and nuts in the large bowl.  Mix it in well.   Once it has cooled down, then you can add your M&Ms.
You can serve it just like this in a big bowl or package it up individually and give as gifts!

It is fun to make this with the different seasons and different colors of M&Ms!

Enjoy!

With Much Love and Gratitude,
