If you want to know how I made these, you can see that here on my Halloween Pallet-Style Sign tutorial…

and I'm totally crushin on the little "25s" as well..

*****On a Big Side note… 3 more items of Business...

1.  I also wanted to tell you about some other things going on around here.  I am busily preparing for my Christmas Show this Thursday.  If you want more info about that, you can see that here.

I have been buried in sawdust making signs and Decor for it.  Like to the point of exhaustion!  Ha- Ha!

2. *** I also wanted to tell you to check back on my blog on this Wednesday the 20th, because I have a fantastic Giveaway I will be announcing!  Whoo Hoo!  I'm sooo excited about this one!  So don't forget to check back on Wed!

3. And just as a fun little mention, remember I shared a post around Halloween about a couple of my favorite Photo editing apps I have on my phone? Rhonna Designs & Vintique.

Last week, I was playing around with this Picture I took of my kids last year for a photo shoot.  I took it into Vintique and put a different filter on it to add some contrast and then I took it into Rhonna Designs and put this quote she had already made.  I liked it because of Ivy Looking back at me.  I then posted it to my Instagram.

I was notified the other night that this photo will be featured this week as one of screen saver shots for the Rhonna Designs App.  So if you open your Rhonna Designs app on your phone, you might just see my 5 kiddos walking along!  Kinda Fun!

Ok, so I'm off to get back to work!

Don't forget to check back on Wednesday to Enter the Giveaway, You won't want to miss it!  Eeeek!

Thanks so much for reading and following along!  I love my Readers!

Easy & Delicious Cookie Pie

I wanted to share with you a quick, easy and Delicious Cookie Pie recipe!  If there is one recipe I am continually asked for, it is this one.  I love to make this for our family, but I also love to share them with other family and friends!  It makes a perfect gift or item to drop off to someone.  I make and deliver several of these at Christmas Time!  They make fabulous Neighbor Gifts!

Once they are baked,  I wrap them in Cellophane, make fun labels to stick on them,  tie them with Baker's twine and off they go...

Easy & Delicious Cookie Pie
Prep time: 5-10 minutes                                                                                                                Bake time: 1 hour

Ingredients
1 Frozen pie shell
2 eggs
1/2 C. Flour
1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Packed Brown Sugar
1 Stick of butter or margarine, slightly softened
Milk Chocolate Chips  (enough to cover the bottom of a pie shell, roughly 1/2 package)

Preheat Oven to 325 degrees

Pour Chocolate Chips into bottom of pie shell.  Enough to cover it.

Beat eggs until foamy.  Beat in Flour, Sugar & Brown Sugar until well blended.  Blend in softened butter or margarine.  Pour batter over the Chocolate Chips, smooth out batter and Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.

Let cool and Enjoy!

I often double and at Christmas time, Quadruple this recipe to bake 2 and or 4 pies at a time.  I love to wrap them up and  affix a fun label to them for Christmas or other occasions.  They are so fun to give as a gift!  Who doesn't love a yummy well-presented pie delivered to them?

This is one our family's most favorite recipes ever!

Christmas Card Idea

I wanted to share with you a fun idea you could use for a Christmas Card.  I know its only the first part of November, but this card might take a little bit of time to design and cut out so I thought I would give you plenty of time to plan!

I made this card look like a file folder.  I made it look as if our family was a company!  It was such a fun card to make and send out!!  (Note, clothespin is not included in the card, merely a prop to hang the card on our Christmas Card tree..)

I first figured out where my text would land on the cards as the folder is folded and the tab header is shown. (Yes, this took a few tries.)   I  then sent my regular sized 8 1/2 by 11 in. card stock through my printer one way for the text to end up where the folder tab would be.  I next turned my card stock over and ran it through my printer printing on the letters for Merry Christmas.

Once all of the printing was done, I free hand sketched a file folder as if it were in an office, making sure my text is lined up.  I next cut that out and it became my template.  I traced and cut that on each of my printed card stock and then folded them and embellished them on the front.  I place our Family photo on the front as well.

Once the card is opened, it looks like this on the inside…

for the inside of the card,  in photoshop, I made a 5x7  and placed each of our kids photos on it with a description or definition of that child under each of  their photos as if they were being kept on file…  I had them printed as 5x7's and  then I just placed them inside of the file folder as if it were a loose piece of paper.

this Christmas card was really fun to do!  I hope if you choose to do this, you will enjoy yours also!

Halloween Costume Photo Shoot!

You know I love to take the kid's pictures in their costumes!  I took the Girls over to some old Sheds where I like to shoot and got some shots of their costumes!  The whole setting actually played in our favor with their costumes this year!
Ava was Jesse...

and every Cowgirl needs a Horse!

she really was a cute Jesse...

Madi was the Mad Hatter!

And Can I just say how perfect this little old house worked out for Dorothy???

Of course she had to stop and do a dance for me…

she looked cute on the front steps of the house too!

It was a great Photo shoot of the girls…

I took the little girls out Trick or Treating on Halloween.  They were sooo cute, oh my, I laughed and Laughed, we had so much fun!!!
