Happy 4th of July!

I wanted to share with you how I use the Pics I have taken of my kids with flags and incorporate them into our 4th of July decor!  Here is one of my favorites...  Our Fireplace with the different shots I have taken of the kids with Flags... (If you would like to see how I built this Fireplace, here's a link to an earlier post of how I completed it). Our Fireplace
I enlarged the photo of Ivy with the Flag.  I mounted it on some foam board, decided not to frame it, just let it be all natural, placed it up on one of my little benches to add some height.  Added my other framed photos with the kids and flags, and this is how it turned out.

I bought that way cute America banner a few years ago, it is a Dee Foust collectible for Bethany Lowe Designs.  I love how it adds a new dimension to the mantel.

I did make that cute red glittered stand and did a simple thing, filled a jar with white rice and placed a few American Flags in it to add some flare!

I also put some shots of the little ones up on our Old Window/Shutters for some Spirit. Same thing as above, I enlarged the photos and mounted them on foam board.

I have had some readers request a tutorial on how I made this Old Window/Shutters and I promise I am working on the tutorial of how I made it.
It really wasn't too hard to make and I love how it adds character to our home...

Have a wonderful 4th of July!
With Much Love & Gratitude,
