Get ready, if you haven't ever tried these cookies, warning: once you do, you'll be hooked!
Do you love to sit around the campfire and make s'mores? It's such a fun summer tradition to do. Well I have this yummy recipe for s'mores cookies that you bake right on the graham cracker! Delicious!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
11 Tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened. (I used margarine and it worked just fine)
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
3 regular sized Hershey's bars broken into pieces. (I used one giant bar and cut the chunks in half)
1-2 packages graham crackers broken into squares.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt to combine them and set aside.
In an electric mixer bowl cream together:
butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and combine on low speed. Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
Line your baking pans with the squares of graham crackers. Lay them as close together side by side to fill the entire baking pan. Depending on how big you make the cookies will determine how many graham crackers you will need.
Place scoops of dough on each graham cracker square
Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and place your chunks of Hershey bars in the middle of each cookie and Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes depending on how hot your oven bakes.
Remove from the oven to cool and then enjoy!
They have become one of our family's favorites!
