Sacks of Fun!

I am slowly trying to get things back together from this last week!  Oh man!  On a greater note, Our little Ivy is doing soooo much better!   It was a Staph Infection.  A MEAN one at that!  But as we were helping her to recover,  I was also getting some things done for Parker's birthday.  He wanted a more "low key" Birthday, and a nicer gift.  So I went with just making up a Birthday banner for him, making some yummy food and doing some other fun things.

Parker loves the Minnesota Vikings, so I went with their colors.  I did some tissue garlands out of purple and white tissue.  As I was buying the tissue the other night, I spotted these purple sacks and the thought occurred to me.  "Why not make these sacks the background of his banner??"  So this is how the banner turned out...  I thought it was kinda fun and was pretty simple to make!

I strung about  4 strands of yellow and white twine across and hung some tissue fringe that I made across three of the the strands...

I cut out his letters on my Silhouette and glued them to the sacks...

I simply just hung the folded bottom part of the sack over the twine...

and there we have it...

Happy Birthday Parker!!

I think something like this would look sooo cool with  Kraft paper sacks too!

With Much Love & Gratitude,
