Magnetic Christmas Countdown... BINGO style & Free Printable

BINGO!
I wanted to do a fun countdown for Christmas so I designed this Bingo Card Christmas Countdown & have included a FREE download of this Bingo Card for you to make your own!

I made mine Magnetic so an Ornament or Game piece can be placed with a magnet on the Game Board. The Fun part about this is, it is just like a Bingo Game, the numbers are mixed up and every day as it gets closer to Christmas, you have to find the number and move the Ornament or game piece to highlight and mark that day as it gets one day closer to Christmas.

I printed off my Bingo Game board as an enlarged print at Sams club Photo, mounted it to sheet metal with Mod podge, glued it to plywood and then Framed it.  Here is a side view…  With "9" days Til Christmas.

Here it is with 7 days til Christmas…

*Now if you don't have the tools to build and frame your Bingo card, IT can always be printed off and placed on a cookie Sheet like some countdowns are, OR a countdown can be printed off on 8.5 x 11 paper OR made into a Poster enlargement and simply hung on the Fridge with magnets of your choice to mark the day til Christmas...

I found my ornaments at Walmart.  Glued Magnets to the back of them and they are ready to go.  If you don't want to use an ornament, Checkers or vintage Bingo Game Pieces would be perfect with magnets glued to the back of them.

On this one, I used a cute knob magnet I have…

I printed off my Bingo Game board at Sams Club.  I printed my larger ones at 16 x 20.  I printed my smaller ones at 12 x 16.

I purchased a piece of sheet metal from Lowes.  Using tin snips, I cut my metal to the same size as the game board. Using Mod Podge,  I then adhered the Printed Bingo Card to the sheet metal.

Once it was glued, I placed the sheet metal with the Bingo on it on some 1/4 in. plywood. I drew a line to mark where to cut.  I next cut the plywood to fit the Bingo card.

I used Liquid Nails to glue the sheet metal to the plywood.

On the back, I then cut and fit some plywood to frame the backside to be used as anchors for the outside frame.  Secured it using 5/8 in. brads.

I then framed it with some pine that I cut to 1 1/2 in. wide and painted white. *NOTE*  Make sure you frame your Bingo Card with the Top side edge of the frame  flush with with the Bingo Card so the Ornament can go over to the edge of the card and not run into the edge of the frame.   Once it was framed, I sanded down the frame and stained it to give it a vintage look.

I love these cute star tiny jingle bell gold ornaments I found at Walmart.  They work perfect to mark the large Bingo Card.  I then glued a magnet to the back of the ornament so it can be moved all over the board.  (notice how the ornament can go over the edge of the frame.)

Here is your download for a Free printable to use as you wish.  To download this bingo card, simply right click on the image below and save it to your computer.  You are then able to size it to any size you may want or use!  Enjoy!

With Much Love & Gratitude,
