Magnetic Inter-changeable Chalkboard....

I wanted to share with you how I made the Pallet-style magnetic Chalkboard That I used in Madi's Cake Stand party...

I did the back in a pallet-style using cedar fencing.
For this, I cut each of the cedar pieces at 25 in. long.

If you would like a tutorial on the pallet background, you can see that here on the Heart-Board tutorial...

I purchased the frame at Hobby Lobby.

I next cut some sheet metal that I purchased from Lowes.  I cut the sheet metal to a size a little bit larger than the middle opening of the frame.  I next painted it with chalkboard paint. 2-3 coats of paint.  Once dry, I glued it to the pallet portion that I built and put a nail in the center at the top so I could hang the frame on it...

with the Nail in the center, you can hang the frame on it and change out the frames from one to another of your choice...

You can use Chalk on the board, and it can also be used as a Magnet board...

Really that's all there is to it.   Enjoy!

With Much Love & Gratitude,
