Library Pocket Valentines!

I've been working on some Valentines for the girls to exchange!

I thought it would be fun to make some library pockets for their valentines to on!

The BEST part is... They hold Candy too! I found these individually packaged candies, but any candy would be fun, Suckers, tootsie rolls etc...

Here are some shots of them without the candy...

Madi has to write her classmate's names on hers, so I made her a space for that...

I think they turned out kinda fun....

I took the girls photos up against a black board I have.

I next photoshopped the writing onto the photos.  Resized them and had them printed.  The individual photos are roughly 3.5 wide by 2.75 tall.  I doubled them up on a 4 x6 photo to have them printed...
and I couldn't resist this funny pose by Ivy...

I next found a library pocket and paper insert download for my Silhouette Cameo.  I resized them both just a bit and cut out the envelope pockets... the pockets finished size is 4 .75 tall by 3.25 wide...

Designed up their paper inserts and placed four on a page...

Printed and cut the papers, glued the pockets together, and glued the paper inserts in...

Found some cute colored paper clips at Office Depot and clipped the photos on!!  Filled with Candy and we are ready to exchange!

Happy Valentines Day!

With Much Love & Gratitude,

  1. Michelle those are great, truly reminiscent of days gone by. When I was in grammar school I loved looking at the card to see who checked out the book before me!
